I can only manual about 10-20 feet consistently. I purchased Ryan leech's manual and bunny hop online courses and they're helping a ton. Ive seen a lot of progress the last coyple weeks. I highly recommend his courses.

Sweet. The Release is a great bike. If you have a boost fork you could probably clear a 2.8. I had a 2.8 on my bronson up front with a 2.6 on the back. To be honest, I don't see a huge difference between a 2.8 and a 2.6 up front.

I just got off the phone with over the edge and they got snow in hurricane last night. They say gooseberry has snow on it, but it is rideable. They say you should only drive the road when it's frozen, otherwiae itll be sloppy wet mud that you might get stuck in.. I think that's a deal breaker for me.

I'll be in st george and available to ride Zen or barrel or church rocks or whatever if you guys want to come down here.

Aww, crappy. I hate mud, that might be a deal breaker for me too. Any suggestions for primitive camping down your way?

So we're up on Gooseberry, it's dry as a bone and good to go. We're definitely riding tomorrow if you want to come up.

Was the road in frozen when you drove it? Was the road dry? I'm more afraid of the road in than the trail. If the road is dry I would totally head there tomorrow morning.

Oh yeah! I forgot about that. We just got one good still from it. Total poser shot since I didn't nose manual the whole slab. That had some big consequences. I need to work on those nose pivots.

I'm taking a course on nose pivots and switchbacks on ryanleech.com and it's helping a ton. I totally recommend his courses. In full disclosure , Tess and I are ambassadors for his site, but we bought his courses and recommended them even before we became affiliated with him. She learned to bunny hop in 2 weeks.

I have a $19 off coupon for anyone who wants a discount on a course. All his courses are great, but my three davorites are:

- bunny hop master course
- manual master course
- baseline balance

Pm me for the promo code.

Tess and I will be filming us doing each of the drills and posting on the site.

Thanks. I didn't want to post it because I didn't really earn it. And because it looks like I'm about to go OTB. Next time I hope to habe the skills to nose manual most of the slab.
