I don't know.. but I hope he has a plan to get rid of exhaust heat.

I never got around to this. The guy that had done it on his Xterra ran into exhaust issues, as Tacoma has pointed out. He ended up making it a 2 piece system rather than a full belly 1 piece. He retained about 85% coverage and allowed for hot air to get out.

I don't care much for how the skid in the picture is bolted up. Any word on how well counter sinking the bolts work? Or do you have to spread the load out with the large washers?

Countersunk bolts work just fine.
