Switching to flat. The drop pitman I had is way too much drop. The flat one won't even go on the box. So I make.

The flat CJ arms are weaker. Your Astro arm should be much beefier. If you look at @Hickey's picture above, you can see the cross-section of the CJ arm is sorta oval, where your Astro arm will be rectangular. Lots more material in yours.

Some years ago my friends and I (see how long ago it was, I had friends!) went through a battle where we’d paint each others diff covers gold. Sometimes it was while they were in the garage, even on lunch break on the trail. Well it took a big step up when my friend used a whole can of gold on my front end. I’m talking everything under the front of the Jeep was gold. I swear we laughed so hard 🤣
