Greg, without reading the whole post, what sprockets are on this? Since it is in my garage at the moment I know there is a 50 on the rear and I think I counted 13 on the front, is that what you would stay with? Did you ride it with a 14/50(stock)? Its time to get new sprockets and a chain and I am torn between stock or dropping the front. My neighbor really struggled on his until we dropped the front sprocket on his. Funny thing is, on mine he rode great, on his he struggled when he had 14/50. When we dropped his to 13/50 it was night and day how he rode. He swears up and down that mine is geared differently, I tell him its in his head. I can ride mine just fine in the technical stuff with a 14/50 but just wondering if its worth it to drop it to 13/50?
I will probably buy a 13 and 14 tooth front just for giggles to try them both out. What is your suggestion for the WR?

It should have a 14 tooth CS, I'm pretty sure I gave Cheston a 15 tooth as well. IMO the 14 was fine, plenty low 1st gear and still able to run 80+ MPH. 13 would be pretty crazy-deep, IMO... but you could damn near idle up most everything!
