I think 'Turkey Crawl' is the unofficial name of the trip we'll be putting together here on RME. Just some friends and well-built rigs out for fun. :cool:

I think we just got lucky, or our group was well prepared. Usually it's the other way around, IMO. I think the amount of time on the trail due to the length has a lot to do with the chance for issues.

You are probably right, we also had a great trail leader!!
 
We are in at the Comfort Inn! That weekend is our daughter's 6th birthday so there may be some form of celebrating going on as well.

Shawn: I have been told that the KOA in Grand Junction kicks ass, so just an FYI if the camper is an option for your family's lodging. Obviously, we would love to see you both trips, but if you can only swing one, at least the Turkey Crawl is 3 days...:D

We thought about the camper but I don't want to haul it that far,,,,at 80mph :D
 
Update

Seeing as this proposed trip is now only 2 weeks away, what's the story with everyone? Greg is still out for an unknown amount of time, Jeff (Badbuggy) is out due to back surgery, and Shawn is a no go as well. We are up in the air at this point. LJ is ready and could make the trek, but we are thinking about just coming up for a social weekend since Jeff and Greg are both out of the game. What say everyone else?
 
I am going to be in Moab from the 11-14th; i'd love to meet some new folks. The 11th is a travel day from SLC but it'd leave the afternoon to wheel. I've never done 21 road and would be up for it 12th or 13th. Otherwise I'd be willing to link up with some folks in moab. i'm only meeting with 1 friend who's coming from col. springs and our rigs are ready for most anything i think.

I would love to wheel with Jeff, Greg, Shawn and yellow bronco any day.

I am headed to Pamona next weekend, so that might be a factor in $$$

But I am aching to try out some of my new upgrades!

I think DTOY is looking to go somewhere. He has done some MAJOR upgrades! :D
