One of our friends did the harness for us and another one is going to flash the computer this week. Fed ex finially got the headers to us and brian was pretty excited about them. I only had to persuade one tube for them to fit. the engine is offset to the passenger side a little bit. The drive side fit no problem. Both dump perfectly and will clear without cutting anything.

It’s because YROC is a creative bastard. Love it.

Creativity was tossed out the window with this pile. its grab what ever shop remnants fit and weld it in at this point on this thing. It needs to be done super fast as we still have to race prep the rest of our crap.

Had to notch the muffler to get it to clear the 205

Made the y pipe out of Austins Chrysler 300 ss take off exhaust left overs81500087_2549704175313557_1632241181985341440_n.jpg81976767_447431099475851_648784758867755008_n.jpg

We got the dip stick tube in and reinstalled the pan. We welded a drain bung in the pan and a bung for a temp sensor. 81025282_2563641867294601_7122000686752989184_n.jpg

The koh cooler hauler is getting an exhaust also since it didnt have any muffler before and sounded like a derby car. Those tips came off the 300 and the muffler is Austins old titan muffler.

Looking great.

My only recommendation would have been to not put a drain plug on the bottom plane of the transmission pan as it could be a potential point of contact and major leak. I usually mount my drain plugs low but on one of the sides to avoid hitting on something and damaging the pan or worse ripping the drain plug off or out of the pan. Many times I will also use the temperature sending unit bung as the drain so I only have one bung welded to the pan.

Just a thought.

I like the idea of the sender as the drain and will implement the simplicity in my next build. And like the idea keeping the drain tucked up. Also the temp bung was a after thought days after I had already welded a drain bung in. In this case brian drilled a hole in the pan before he took it off to drain it and with the body lift the pan will be a good 2 inches higher than the bottom of the frame and safely tucked up past the tube skid we plan on installing.we mounted the engine pretty high to safely clear that gigantic front axle that stuffs pretty high with our low slung ride height.

Fired up on first crank and ran good, and the random th400 that a friend dropped off and sat in my yard uncovered for a few months seems to work.

More sami hackery.

The t case got rotated pretty flat leaving the fill plug useless so we made a trip to the hardware store. Poured in the recommended 2.5 quarts and then clocked that down a bit till it just leaked out.

The exhuasted sounded pretty damn good. its got 2.75 y pipe to 2.5 all the way out.

Ole Bullard went full derby car and screwed in a bronco door skin with bullet holes in it into the floor to cover my gigantic sawzall happy hole lol. He even scabbed in a seat mount for the one of the two suspension seats brian had scored not enough time to do the passenger side. 83308238_766324447195809_7751994014512971776_n.jpg82671562_186212952578275_8537734955348787200_n.jpg82372542_2536154753298315_7803265547386224640_n.jpg82566140_702085830321318_7457930677636300800_n.jpg82325021_174129233826218_7152152585531555840_n.jpg83246053_186115679173902_953415888546037760_n.jpg

Tc pump is mounted in the factory ls truck p pump bracket. luckily one bolt was able to go through the factory bracket into the tc pump squaring it to the engine and lining up the pulleys perfectly. After that i used the old bracket i made for the ford motor, bolted it to the rear of the pump and welded and bolted some crap to the block lol. I was able to mock it all up on my new buggy engine which was way too convenient.

For the first time ever the bronco has all the gauges hooked up and the lights work so you can see them at night lol.

Some stuff Austin tidied up last night. He remounted some random non blown shocks. Reran the smashed end of the exhaust. Moved the gauges. And installed a stereo. received_657652331707795.jpeg20200201_002700.jpgreceived_172680927386342.jpegreceived_1465701390278269.jpegreceived_124853912111081.jpegreceived_852212585249303.jpeg20200201_002719.jpg
