Some more updates from today. Got some yukon 35 spline stubs and u joints from waynehartwig last week (thanks Wayne) Great price. Got my front axle all back together after I sandblasted the knuckles and caliper brackets and spindles. Threw a king pin kit in them also that i got from wayne too.

I got the uppers all mocked up for the front axle. I was trying to make the uppers adjustable, but it proved impossible on the drivers side with the header, motor mount, drive shaft, and upper link all stuffed in to one spot some I mounted the uppers on the front side of the motor mount and alleviated all the crowding. Took some better pictures of my welding. Hopefully Tacoma will approve;)

Hey Your not running a pan hard right?

The lateral forces on your upper links from the steering (assuming your not full hydro) will be severe.

I know you've allready moved your front lowers once but if it was me and it was at all possable I would triangulate the lowers and mount them on a crossmember, so they could share the lateral load with the uppers especially since they'er wider at the axle thus making a bigger triangle, not to mention it would eliminate the tire rubbing the link problem.

Just my $0.02

Yep I plan to move the lowers in once I get my t case and drive shaft set up on a crossmember. I am planning on going full hydro so not a big deal there. Thanks for the heads up

Well I got my Stak about a week ago, but had to finish up some rockers for the SD. Today I mounted the stak up, but had to move my trans crossmember becuase the stak adapter was quite a bit bigger heightwise. I ended up moving it to the small area between the adapter the trans pan. Took a while for fitmet since room was tight there. I was told I mihgt have to get a new output shaft for my th400, but on some advice and research decided I would give cutting it down a shot. I have a th400 that was mated to a np208, my adapter is the shortest one available but requires the 203 tail shaft. I took some measurements and I thought I was gonna be fine. Nope I needed another 1/2 inch so what the hell, I cut it down. It went pretty smooth. The outside cut a lot easier then the middle, I'm guessing it's harded. I cleaned up the teeth with a small file quickley and on it went like nothing.

I finished getting my stauns all set up last weekend. They seem pretty intimidating at first. Especially since I mounted the tires by hand also. The first 1 took my about 2 hours alone. In the end the last one took me just over 20 with a seconf set of hands helping. This weekend I got the seats all tacked down and I had to make one crossmember removable so I could get my tarns and t case out if needed. Plus I was trying to keep the seats low so it took a while to get everything the way I wanted. Then I worked on the rear seat area. I originally was planning on running a normal piece of tube behind the c piller for the rear seat belts put that proved to little room to even be functional as a rear seating area so I move that bar back quite a bit and lower so I could tilt the seat back to give about 10 inches more room. I thnk it will work well. Air shocks shoyld be showing up this week too.
