Like I said, it was just the grill, not the hood or anything else. It had the horse in it for a while but it disappeared somewhere.

That's what I liked about yours and bradens. Nobody has them.

I've always liked the idea of a non-Jeep, even though the Jeep stuff is just simple and easy to use. That's why on my last buggy I used FJ40 stuff, then when that got crunched enough I replaced it with Nissan Frontier. Part of the reason to choose that one was that the fenders, hood, and grill were easy and cheap to get from Interstate, for replacement purposes.

One thing to look for if you go that route, is a grill that lends itself well to narrowing. On the Nissan one, I just cut the sides off. The hood was flat enough to just cut the sides and not worry about actually sectioning the hood, then the fenders just mounted up with a little trimming. :)

Chad, do what Braden said--try to envision all kinds of cars/trucks/SUV's you see on the road with narrowed stuff. Sometimes the headlights might look cool closer together, sometimes deleting the headlights is the way to go.

I always thought a Nissan Murano would look neat as a buggy hood/grill/fender/headlight combo, but the hood is more shapely so it'd make things harder.

Pic of my old rig....it looked better with the chrome grill I put on later:

I like the idea of the new frontier p/u. Interstate had the parts and the grill and hood looked to be pretty modifiable;)

This may be the epitome of foolishness, but at that width how about a side by side grill and hood?

That would almost make them cool, on 40's.

I think side by sides are more like 40-something inches wide. Far too narrow for his plans. I could be wrong though.

I was going to narrow it a ton in the front. There are good lines to follow to cut. It would eliminate the headlights tho.

Different for sure.......

I don't think it would look horrible, if you're in to cartrucks. :D

That Baja Camaro comes to mind, that thing was sweeeeeet.

Are you implying that Cheston would have a creation that's 1/2 car, 1/2 truck..... and 1/2 buggy...???

Wait a minute, that seems rather unpossible. :D

Chad, the Narrowed CJ hood I told you about is 49 1\2 wide. Let me know if you are interested, but might be a bit too narrow for you.
