Wait, Cow and Calf Canyons are open to OHV travel now? The Cow and Calf Canyons off of Buckhorn? I knew there was old road at least part way up, but I didn't think those had been open for decades.
 
Help me understand... It seems like MORE trails are open in both the open sections, and fewer are closed.. right? But BRC is still focusing on the closed trails, that are now fewer than before.. right?

I need to dig in but I suspect the previous 'Closed' list was trails that existed and were being used but not technically open, i.e. they are calling them closed. So we did lose opportunities and existing and historic routes.
