you going to pay for it??

and what do you care?

I wouldnt want to go wheeling with someone that has that state of mind.

he has a good point if you've already lost second gear the others may be close as well. Nothing ruins a good day of wheeling like hauling a broken rig out.

I agree 100% with MBRYSON on this one, fix the thing or leave it home!

Oh, and if you wheel with that "they can wait while I fix my junk" attitude, I'd be thrilled to NEVER wheel with you.

Uh, fix it so you're not a trail liability?

I have to agree with Bryson on this one. Personally, I hate having to hold everyone up because my junk isn't moving with the group. I would much rather wheel than wrench any day. If your Bronco isn't trail ready, come ride with one of us and bet it ready for next time.

An attitude like this will get you a whole bunch of answers like this:

fix the thing or leave it home!

Oh, and if you wheel with that "they can wait while I fix my junk" attitude, I'd be thrilled to NEVER wheel with you.

And will likely kill any chance of you being on the receiving end of the extraordinary amount of good will from the members here.

Breaking on the trail SUCKS!!!

Thanks again to all that helped get me off the Maze.

Folks like...mbryson, Shawn, as well as a bunch of others that I *should* know...I'll have to go look at pics and figure out names, especially the dude in the buggy that dragged me all over, and the guys that helped reseat the bead, and the guy with air, and the guy with the hi-lift, etc.

What broke? a measly 14-bolt...

I guess I should have been slapped for showing up with tires that burp.

I didnt have a attitude. you guys just think i did.

I was just stating who would want to go wheeling with some one who will most likely just leave you if you have a problem.

my 2nd gear didnt go out. it was never there in the first place, first and 3rd work just fine.

I drive it around town ever chance i get and never get worse or better.

Marc Bryson is the LAST person that would leave anyone on the trail broke.

That being said, if you have previous knowledge of an issue, it's wise to use the 2 months between now and EJS to fix the issue. Just sayin'.;)

He never said that. He was lookin' out for ya, man. He was trying to save you the embarrassment of having your junk towed, based on your comment: "cus im sure its going to brake down..."

He's even been known to make room on his trailer for someone else's broken junk.

Like I said above, being a trail liability sucks the big greasy one. btdt, got the t-shirt.

Im no newbie to wheeling.

the only thing i can count on when going wheeling is braking down and having problems and having fun.

from my bro to well, just about everyone i go wheeling with, (but mainly my bro :guilty:) we all brake down or what not. thats part of wheeling.

the first trip i had with my bronco i blew a clutch, then again in idaho, and even ran hell's with a bad tourqe converter. lol

I trust the bronco 100% on the trail, just not a 450 + mile drive.

thanks for the concern and all ifthat was what you ment, and sorry if i came across as a a$$.

this is the best thing you could have said...

That being said, you might want to plan on being home for Easter... the only saint on this board with a double trailer is the guy that you just pissed off...

:rofl::rofl:
