This is great!
So we haven't got a real schedule yet. Still working some details out on location permits and other costs. Yes, we actually pull film permits.
Seems these areas need a 6 month lead time. Maybe, just maybe, because no one has wheeled them ever before! The point isn't to break your pride and joy on camera. Just be yourself having a good time with friends. It doesn't matter what you drive either. I am working on shooting a killer new trail. It will actually link up with several existing routes. When it is done, it should take a couple days to actually complete it. I have paid for the arc study, and other enviro stuff. The bottom line is if it goes through, you could very well be the first on the trail with us as we document it. Do I really need to pay people for this opportunity?
And yes, because I have a camera, oh, and my junk gets into over half a million homes worldwide each year. Most people like that. It is not like we are a bunch of rookie punks with a camcorder.
Seriously, I don't want you to break stuff you can't budget to fix. But there are a few out there like myself that enjoy doing really cool stuff that will sometimes end in a not so $olvent manner.
Finally, I absolutely love it when people send me clips they already have or can get in their local area. I only wish I could travel every where to shoot. (But I spend most my cash fixing the junk I break.) And I do drive some junk. Feel free to send us what ever you can get or have got. Extra bad ass points when you wheel a full size!
The bottom line is that I get 2-3 e-mails a week asking how guys can get in our videos or clips we put on TV. I just thought this was the best place to post up. Save the "effin" bitching for that other bulletin board.
