How is it people associate these to words together? How can something be custom (which equals time consuming) and come cheap?
agreed.Greg said:Because many people don't account for their time & how much it's worth?

time equals money.
I personally find it to be stress relief.Greg said:Then again, a lot of people like to do custom work to get away from their job, aka making money. Just some relaxing fab work, wrenching, whatever it is they're doing. If they aren't into it for the money but rather a therapeutic release, then time does not = money.
Man that was deep...

" I want this like this but just a little different so it looks custom, but I need it to be fairly cheap"

true, I just don't think they take into consideration the amount of money invested in equipment to make custom pieces. Let alone the time they have spent to learn the ins and outs of what they do.Greg said:IMO the people that are making these comments need to learn to do the work themselves. Invest the time, money, blood, sweat & tears to get what they want. Then, try to make it 'cheap'.
Greg said:I often find wrenchin' stressfull. :-\ Fab work is diffrent, that's fun.
