Instead of focusing on immediately upgrading their infrastructure to keep up with demand, they instead continue to gouge their customers and implement unfair bandwidth caps for those who use what they pay for. Great business plan!
Our internet was really slow this summer, so we called and complained.
Their answer:
"We're sorry, there are too many users on your street. Because you are so far from the hub, you should only have x amount of users in the area, but you have y amount, so the signal is really degraded by the time it gets to you."
So we asked the obvious question of what they were going to do to fix the problem.
Their response:
"We suggest you upgrade your service. You won't get the higher speed promised with your upgrade, but you should be at the speed you should be at how."
We asked them why they didn't boost our power, their response:
"For us to boost your power would require installing a new hub in your area. This is very expensive, and would increase your bill, so that isn't an option right now . . . How would you rate your service with Comcast?"
I HATE Comcast
