Continuous Flow Intersections

I drove through the intersection 3 times today. Twice going East on 3500 South and once going West on 3500 South. I did not wait at a red light at all once, and waited less than a minute the other two times. None of the crossings were during the morning or afternoon rushes though.

It was good on the way home, got there just as the light was about ready to turn green and got to see the left turn lane cross then the straight lanes get the green. Last week when they had one lane for a left turn (2 lanes going straight) I sat through the light 2 or 3 times.

I went through it during the evening commute a couple nights ago. Heading West on 3500 South at 5:27 pm. It took less than a minute to get through it. This is way better than it used to be (before the construction). This new intersection makes 35th south to I-215 faster than 201 to I-215 if my destination is anywhere South of 3500 South.
