Coronavirus

That's the kind of gov't over reach that could eventually lead to a shooting battle. Telling private business that they have to tell their employees they have to get a series of shots... For covid? That's crossing a line. Maybe not the line, but it's heading in a very volatile, dangerous direction.

I willingly chose to be vaccinated but I'd make them fire me over this. I will NOT get a booster now. On principle. Go ahead and put a hundred million people out of work over this Liberals. See how that works out for you.

Just get a job with the Post Office, apparently...

I was quite disappointed listening to his speech. Here's why.

1- We've been talking about herd immunity since day 1. We needed to reach 60-70% of people being though it, or immunized. 75% of Americans have the shot, so shouldn't we be there?

2- almost a quote, he said 'The risk of any serious illness from a breakthrough infection is very very low. The shot is effective'. But then also said he is making these mandates to 'protect the vaccinated from the unvaccinated'. If the shot works, then this shouldn't be a problem.

3-remeber when the cake maker couldn't deny a gay couple a cake because he was a public service? Now we are going to support not servicing those we are not vaccinated. I hope EVERY company who complies with any type of vaccine passport gets sued into the ground.

So I broke my rule and read some comments in the news, it shocks me how many people are in favor of this. Now then again it’s a small slice of the demographic but I’d say well over 90% of the comments I read favored this action. Amazed how freely people are willing to give up civil liberties.

I’m sure the ministry of information will be touting how great this is, and will be publicized as one of the dictators greatest moments.

I don’t care either way if you get vaccinated that’s your choice. It is not the governments business to put my livelihood in jeopardy with these tyrannical sanctions.

Companies that can’t afford a legal battle or absurd fines will end up complying. Then they’ll lose a portion of the workforce that quit, because if you haven’t been vaccinated at this point you probably don’t want to be. Now said business is going to go under anyway because ohh yeah they won’t be able to hire anyone to replace the lost employees.

Thinking through that I guess this all makes sense. It just forces the socialist agenda in a non direct way. Completely collapse our economy, put everyone on federal welfare, put the country in crippling debt, reduce military spending and we’ll all be speaking Chinese by 2030

So when do employers have to mandate for things that kill more people than “The Rona”........ like obesity, heart disease, diabetes, suicide
They won't, they don't really care about your health. I've made this comment all over our company mandate asking when they will start mandating a "healthy, covid resistant BMI" and got no answer. I did however get several people who feel it would be reasonable for the company to require weight loss shots of they existed. SMH.

The people that already have it need to understand that this doesn't end with their current 2nd or 3rd dose. This will go on, indefinitely. You'll need to get the juice on their dictated schedule in order for you to keep getting your paycheck.

Also, the 75% thing is gaslighting. They don't have anywhere near that number.

Why have there been no autopsies of those who dies from the vaccines? There is no transparency on data concerning the safety of these gene therapy shots. Any word on the Novavax shot?

Let's not forget... per the norm these days - the mandates are distracting us from Afganistan and the upcoming terrorist event or mass shooting (or whatever else) will distract us from the mandates and all of it is a distraction the stuff they really don't want us to know about... like the IRS stuff, the SCS stuff, the food shortage stuff and so on.
Like the fake extremist protest in DC next week or whenever the fed posters stated?

I hesitate to pull this thread up again but wanted to throw out an update for anyone interested. I had to go to the ER last weekend with chest pain and after another episode of passing out. Officially the lining of my heart is swollen from the vaccine. Luckily I currently take the medication that would be prescribed for another issue, so it could have been worse. My biggest issue with the whole thing is that the doctor, after talking in depth about it and being treated with medication he refused to put the information into my paperwork specifically because he said he didn't want it to be reported as a reaction to the vaccine. Its very frustrating to not be able to rely on a medical professional to do the right thing. Every piece of information during this time should be looked at so we can have a clear view going forward. People like me are a small percentage of people who received the shot and had a serious reaction, but that info could be used in the future for screening or changes that could save lives.

I read a couple of articles last week about the spike proteins produced by the vaccine and issues with heart and blood vessels based on a paper released by some british doctors. Hope you feel better soon.

@Mouse its amazing how different the information from the UK is. I read one that indicated that natural antibodies are FAR superior to vaccine antibodies in dealing with delta.
I find myself reading more foreign articles, esp. regarding this topic. I also find it interesting that the Japanese gov't is moving away from the MRNA-based shots and are prescribing IVM and Hyroxycholoquine. They have also ordered 150M doses of Novavax. Hopefully the US approves (even EUA) Novavax

Man that pisses me off to no end, as I imagine it does you too. I'm really hoping you see some resolve and major improvements soon.
