The runner did good all week hauling around 4 of us at koh luckily as i was not the only one to blow my buggy engine. I just made sure not to idle it after it warmed up. if i kept it at about 1500rpms it would maintain 20psi of oil pressure. Every one got of kick out of my Epstein flag this year. Pro tip if you decide to spectate koh, Installed the biggest ugliest flag you can so you can see your ride when its parked with 1000 other shit boxes.

Finished the bumper. Waiting on some cheap Amazon trailer lights to use blinkers in the small corner tabs. I even got the lady to help paint it.

Well that 20lbs of oil pressure went to zero last spring while we was breaking snow drifts into my buddies cabin. Its sat since then till yesterday. I called all over looking for another good 3rz which sadly is just too hard to find and they want way too much for a worn out one. I went ahead and ordered all the AA parts to ls swap the ole gal. We got it in the shop and gutted the 4 banger out of it. i would like to have it done in time for KOH.

Not quite...lol I got into it pretty cheap for what it is though...For 500$ sure.
Id sell it for like $1650 with no intake or for another $500 with a new Edelbrock carb / MSD igntion setup.
Was built and put in a 32 Ford and then got removed for a blown flathead. Oldschool 😎

I got the 5.3 all cleaned up and blew the old motor mounts off the frame with the torch. I then made some Easter egg frame plates to beef up the undersized frame for the extra ls weight. The bellhousing should be here tomorrow.

Every junkyard ls I come across has atleast 1 broken exhaust manifold bolt. This one had two. They are always broken flush. I build them up with weld then weld a nut on and screw them out every time. I bet I've done close to 20 this way.

My flywheel and pressure plate showed up early so I took the engine out and installed everything. The original plan was to install and plumb the engine and drop the tyranny later to install them.
Had to grind the spacer to get the slave cylinder to mate.

I installed a f body pan I had. I wanna modify a truck pan and swap them out later.

Ive had this radiator kicking around for 8 years. i welded mount on it back then to put in my white dd yota but never did.
