they had redwood shutdown going north towards the crossroads at 400S. My Wife talked to a neighbor and they said 12 car pileup on SR73.

Something I just dont' get about Utah: why does it SEEM that there are so many accidents when it snows? Can people really not drive in snow here? Is it just sensationalist news? It snows all the time here!

I might have moved here from Socal, but I grew up in the Midwest where I learned to drive in the snow. Johnson's pass coming back from Dugway tonight was ridiculous... A wreck just above Rush Valley, could see a vehicle had swerved all over the road under power before causing a 3 car wreck. And 2 more slide-offs before we got to Hwy 36... Semitruck slid off by the tracks.

Doubtful, maybe you can't get past Smiths to get to it, but that isn't the only way.
