How about regearing the D20 with stronger parts and be done with it? IIRC, you can get a 3.8 or something like that? It would be easy and solve your problem.

Can you make a D20 strong? What is IIRC? The other problem i have with the D20 is that when i am in low range and going up hill it kicks out of gear. If i could give it a 3.8 and make it strong enough I may consider it. Do you have any info about D20 build ups?
