Yup.
I am NOT a TG customer.

TG did NOT copy Bobby with thier new axle shafts. If thats the case so did Marlin (Marfield), All Pro (Profield) and who ever made the Bellfields along with a few more. CV joints have been around long before Birfield was even around. Thats like saying CTM or OX copied Spicer with their improved U-joint
I should have clarified that I was not refering to their new birfs.
I have never had any issue with any trail gear products. We've built several toyotas with all TG parts and they are the easiest people to deal with. I ordered a set of Marlin HD seals the same time I ordered the Dirty 30's for my dads truck and it took almost a week longer to get parts from Marlin. Tg Dirty 30's have taken some good abuse in my dads truck with no problems. To get a lifetime warranty from Longfield you also have to order their $100 + hug gears, TG is definately a No Questions asked warranty nwithout buying anything else.

We're running 38" super swampers with a Detroit , 5.29's, and hydro assist with high pressure pump, All Trail Gear

The Newfields were one of the first "heavy duty" birf replacements on the market, long before All Pro and others were even in business. Longfield raised the bar by taking a existing constraint and working it into the strongest axle possible which meant 30 spline and a minimal neck down for the seal surface, while the others were still stuck on 27 splines.
I re-read my post and I realize I worded it wrong. I meant to say that if TG copied Bobby's design then all the others should be blamed for stealing Birfields design--which would be dumb.
Now onto the name Birfield, are you sure CV's were around before them? NTN is/was the manufacture of what became known as the "Birfield" for Toyota and many other applications, I'm not 100% but I think NTN is one of the original innovators of the common CV (in 1918), so to say the Birfield was copied from another CV is a bit misleading
I'll admit that I threw that out without thinking too deep, but In my mind the Rzeppa and Tracta joints have been out forever in automobiles and that was what I was thinking when I posted. At that point it's splitting hairs :-\
Side note, why the name Birfield? Well nobody really seems to know, in 1967 NTN started stamping it on their 6 spline CV assemblies in early Land Cruisers, replacing the ball/claw joint in the earlier axles (a bronze ball). They might have been calling it that earlier, I don't know.
one more ? how many peple are breaking hub gears are they really an issue?
Another trick you can do is add 4 more dowel pins to the hub if you choose not to run flanges. It's kind of a pain to do but it makes a big difference once its finished :-\
