Wanted: double-cab tacoma (2001-2004)

I'm loving my runner, but I want a double-cab tacoma again (2001-2004). I know it's a long shot, but I'm looking to do a partial trade for this:

'99 4runner highlander
3.4L V6
elocker rear axle
33's
4.88s
OME lift
sub/stereo
roof rack

hit me up if you know of anyone who might be willing to let their 4-door go.

I really like this rig but before I dump tons of money into it I have to ask myself if its what I really want. If I'm going to put money into a rig, its going to be a double cab tacoma. I miss my old one.

So I need to know if this thing that Steve has is contagious. I might be riding with him on FRTO, and I don't wanna catch it.

:D We've got issues!!

x... Yeah

Good luck Steve, i'm with you though. I loved my little 3rd gen but I could just never get myself to dump money into it for wheeling

I think you need a second gen double cab with a 6ft bed.

Little long on the wheel base but it gives you everything else you want, other than high cost

the more I work on this rig the more I realize I REALLY want my old tacoma back. I really dig the 4runners, but my last trip left me wanting a truck bed.

This 4runner meets all of my needs (possibly even better than a tacoma). But the tacoma meets all of my current wants. :) I don't need a tacoma to be happy, but I thought I'd throw this out there in case anyone has one they'd be willing to part with.

Steve, you should wait until you take a trip with only 2 people so the back seat space is available. That may help with the cravings.

You should call Kurt and make him an offer for his. Plus it's already built.

Man, I wish I could afford his. Its ideal (except im not a huge fan of red). I would have yo sell the runner before I could make him an offer. Plus I would assume he would want to have the confidence that it'd be around for a while. I don't think I Instill that confidence in sellers. :)
