We now have a toilet at Dusy Creek. Right when you get there, not at the point. This trip was mid August, and is the second toilet funded by BFG Tires with the 2011 Outstanding Trails Program. The first went in at Thompson Lake October 2012, in the camping area closer to the lake.
This trip was at the end of October this year, I went in a couple days early and dug the hole(jackhammer is in the wooden box). This is the third and last toilet funded by BFG Tires. A fourth toilet will be installed next August at Mallard Lake, funded by a trail user and his wife(inspired by BFG)
There was a mess of roots.
Ran into rocks and had to scoot the hole over.
The rest of the crew came in two days later, after 10 hours on the trail(Friday). The next day they had the structure up in six hours, took me 5-6 hours to dig the hole(Thursday).
