Well, I got to looking at the calander and noticed that we have about five months til the EJS. If any of y'all are like me then that time will have slipped by and we will still be scrambling to try and get last minute things fixed or worse trying to get reservations for a place to stay.

It seems as though I go thourgh this cycle every year. I tell myself, "Self, you still have (fill in the blank here with the correct remaining time) I have got plenty of time to finish that engine replacement. No problem!!" This year I am going to vow not to let that happen and start planning now. I just put in for vacation. We will see if the Major approves it or not.

So, this is where I will be staying. http://www.packcreekcampground.com/ This is the best place we have found to stay. I have already been in contact with a couple of y'all and hope that y'all will also be staying there. I look forward to meeting y'all and hope that I can get my junk to keep up with y'all.

Moab Vally RV?! WTF!! Man, I can't believe you are going to let your wife tell you where to stay! Just kidding. As long as y'all are there and have your ride working that is all that matters. You know where we will be so, when we need to get together that is where we will be. It does not seem like we have all that much time left. 141 days is not all that long due to all the holidays coming up. I figure after the holidays we really only have about three months to get our rears in gear.

Char doesnt want to tent again either. Were trying to get a tent trailer so that would be nicer for her as well.

I can't blame the misses for not wanting to camp in a tent. Y'all are so lucky to get to go wheeling as many times a year as ya get too. I am sooooo.... jealous! Thanksgiving would be a blast but, I can usually only make it there about twice a year.

I agree with LT on this one... WTF! I thought we were going to set up the dance party and sell tickets to get into your tent!! Air conditioned, fans, disco ball hanging from the ceiling!! That was the plan!!

Seriously though, if Char would be more comfortable with a pool and hot tub:sick: I guess you have to keep her happy! Like LT said, as long as the hood is not up this time, it is all good! Oh yeah... by the way; I sent an e-mail to Douglas McCollogh at Fourwheeler about the little TTC gathering and trail runs to maybe do a feature on "TTC competitors... Where are they now?". I will let you know if I get a response about that.
Can't wait for Moab! It should be a blast!

Good news! I sold my little Honda Passport and bought a tent trailer!


The Party is on!!!!

The tent trailer has a stereo in it. I will have my AC again along with its heater. Now all I need is the disco ball and some strobe lights!

My plans for now is going down the Tuesday before Easter when the wife gets off work. We will stay till the Tuesday after Easter.


Now hopefully I can muster up some work so that I dont have to sell the tent trailer for a house payment. Wait...thats not funny

I'll be there for sure. If anyone is signing up for a trail opening weekend I'm leading Hell's Revenge on opening Saturday (big thanks to Dave (GreenJeep). Not sure where we're staying yet, depends on if the family is coming or not.

So, by my count we are down to about 4 months now. Looks like I will be headed out the Wednesday before Easter and leaving Easter Sunday. They are changing our schedule again at work so I won't be able to put in for vacation until January 4. It does not matter where we stay as long as we know where to find each other for the trails.

Okay, since we are now just about into the holiday season I am going to say that time is really running short on this. We have just over three months till EJS. I am still having to wait until 01-04-09 before I can put in for vacation. ChestonScout says Tuesday til Tuesday. Anybody else know what days they will be there?

Alright, we have about two and a half months left. What are the dates everyone will be there for? I put in to have two weeks off but that is because it is easier to cancel days than to get days. Sound off!
