It is a great fan and definately moves alot of air for a very minimal investment Is your current setup not keeping things cool enough???
I used the taurus fan on my V8 swap and I love it. Cost me $20 from the junkyard. The most expensive part about the conversion was the $75 Amp relay out of a dump truck I bought from NAPA. I also used the thermostat control with the probe that goes into the radiator hose and turns the fan on at the desired temp. Here is a diagram of how I wired mine up, works great.

Wow! Thanks for that info. I am a novice, anyway of getting some on site assistance when I take on this venture?
I live in North Ogden so anytime you want to come check it out and see how I did the whole thing let me know.
Here's my single speed taurus fan. This fan is massive overkill.
I also made an adjustable electronic circuit that controls the fan. It uses the existing factory coolant temperature sensor in a non intrusive way so that it still works for the PCM. This also makes it much cheaper and less of a hassle to install. The relay I used is a standard automotive 60 amp sealed relay, I got it for under $2 http://www.boardrelays.com/Detail.asp?Product_ID=303.113_BU5084W
I'm using a standard 40amp 1/4" automotive ATO/ATC fuse, anything less blows on spinup.
I'd like to do something non intrusive. I'm not going to lie though, electrical scares the piss out of me. Looks mightily intimidating
Nah it's fun
I could probably make another one of the circuits for you for a few bucks if you were interested. I don't think there's anything on the market that does it non-intrusive like I did; just an assumption though.
