Yes you could just switch the signal output that trips the relay to interrupt it; or switch power to it to manually force it on.
Would it be for your '04 4.0L TJ?

You make some brackets and the fan mounts right to the backside of the radiator. you eliminate the fan off the water pump and lose the shroud.

The fan covers almost the entire radiator. And as much air as that fan moves I don't think you would see a difference.

I could probably make another one of the circuits for you for a few bucks if you were interested. I don't think there's anything on the market that does it non-intrusive like I did; just an assumption though.

The Ford fans have a shroud; it is integrated into the housing. Look again:

That large squarish black housing is the shroud. You simply remove your stock fan and shroud and replace them both with this item. Simple.
