I think it's great that so many people would have dropped what they were doing to help Kurt out, as would I... lesson learned, let's get over this...
i'd like to ask you guys to atleast take a step back and look at the big picture and decide if it's worth all the fuss... i mean really... did reading this thread put you out? i doubt you got all packed up to go rescue anyone before you read on to see that it was his connection to the bb...

Oh, and every now and then......I get 404. Connection is fine, just randomly lately.
sorry if my typing is bad, i'm out of breath . . . i just got back from some local trails. As sson as i saw Sami's post, i jujped in myh truck and went to every trail I could think of to find Kurt.
I jsut got back, and opened the thread.
GLad to hear Kurts okay. Wish I would've read Sami's thread before I went out to recue Kurt though.

Hahaha, funny thread. Just to let you know, UEN had the Cisco router down for maintenance last night. There is a lot of local trafic that goes through that router. I know I couldn't get email last night because of it, and my Broadband was SLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW. Sorry to get this back on topic. Please don't ban me......
Maybe we can Help Kurt, get this figured out. (If curt can login with his LT again)
check to see if the hostname is resolving correctly in DNS
Start->run Type CMD
type ipconfig /flushdns <clears the local resolver cache.>
type nslookup rockymountainextreme.com <should resolve to 216.246.1.218>
type nslookup www.rockymountainextreme.com <should resolve to 216.246.1.218>
if it resolves correctly it's a local problem
if it doesn't it's a DNS problem could be the router in front of Your machine if it's doing DNS proxy it's probably doing DNS cashing.
If it does then we know it's a problem on the pc like a poisened cache.
The hack:
add rockymountainextreme.com and www.rockymountainextreme to your c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts file.
