FYI - I worked with Kurt long enough to find out that it was not a DNS issue, or a problem resolving to the website. Both his computers on his Qwest line had the same problem, but they would work using his neighbors connection. His tracert to RME would take a wrong path, like it was routing incorrectly. The comment about "UEN had the Cisco router down for maintenance last night" makes sense, it seemed to be a problem further down the line than Kurt.

alright... so that everyone can sleep tonight... name calling and BS aside, i'm sorry... sorry for misleading you all into thinking that Kurt was in some type of physical/mechanical trouble?? or whatever i led you to believe by the title of this here thread... that would be my fault.

I think it's great that so many people would have dropped what they were doing to help Kurt out, as would I... lesson learned, let's get over this...

i'd like to ask you guys to atleast take a step back and look at the big picture and decide if it's worth all the fuss... i mean really... did reading this thread put you out? i doubt you got all packed up to go rescue anyone before you read on to see that it was his connection to the bb...

but really... sorry to disturb the peace here on RME...

I slept fine thanks.

The fact that you want to believe anybody was upset about it is what makes you a dumbass.

Thanks again for all your help Keith.

I called Quest today... it was fruitless to say the least. He did assure me that the problem is NOT on their end... and that they don't block sites. He thinks its a firewall issue? But he didn't have a recommendation of how I could check that...

So still no daytime RME for me :(

PS.. For all those that would have helped me in an actual "emergency"... I am truly humbled, I hope you know I would do the same. :)

Yeah, qwest sucks. So, exactly what is the problem? Do you get an error message, blank page, what?

Nothing... it just pulls up the "the page cannot be found"

Every other forum, webpage, etc works, just RME. Keith and verified my computer is trying to connect to the right server, but it times out when we ping? it.
