emissions help!

Does anyone know of anybody who can help me out with passing my emissions testing? I bought a truck truck from Weber county.....they don't require emissions.

We got a letter on the emissions machine this week stating that they are going to be installing cameras at all the emission stations and recording all tests. Supposed to be done by end of October.

Davis county already has this with there worldwide machines. A+ is slow and retarded. I wouldn't expect them to work till next year lol!

I was in the same boat, truck was from Weber county but I live in Davis. I talked the dealer into putting the stock exhaust on my truck. I hope you can find someone that will help you out.

Magnaflow makes a 5 inch diesel cat 60012 (its about $250 on ebay), it is supposed to meet standards in every state but CA. And I agree with everyone else here, just bite the bullet and get it done legally.

Even if you find a shop that will do it, all it takes is one time of you stomping the gas pedal a big puff of black particles and a cop deciding to pull you over. He leans under the truck, you get a ticket and the shop who passed you gets a huge fine. Because of that you will have a hard time finding anyone to do it anyway.

The 60012 is actually an off road use only cat in all states. You'd need the 60112 that is EPA approved.

Yes I did get the pm thanks, I think I'm just going to fork out the dough and get a cat installed.... just need to find one that fits the 5 inch, magnaflow had their one you guys mentioned, any other ones out there?
