Saw this on I-15 on the way home. Yes ladies and gentlemen, that is a mattress flapping in the 80 MPH wind.

You mean that's a ruined mattress flapping around at 80mph.

Why is this such a common occurrence? EVERY time I see a mattress on top of a car it's strapped down sideways like this one. Put one lengthwise down the center of it and you just might have a good night sleep tonight.

What happened to airmanwilliams that started this thread? The last time I saw him he had thrown a rod and was sitting on the side of the freeway. I pulled over and we chatted for a bit. But it seems he disappeared shortly after.
