Going down

Been down a few freefall drops in comps that carried the pucker factor, but I would have serious concerns with going down Suicide on Green Day.

biggest pucker for me was to come down chewey; it was the only time I remember raising back tires up in the air. my pal in his TJ did the same thing. I used to enjoy doing Pritchett backwards but because the obstacle is so dug out its no longer fun to come down it.
ideally a guy could cross the top and come down the far left (looking up) side for a smooth ride but since the fences went it ya have to cross the top at an angle. my junker with spools steers like a 747 and that seemed too risky.

I don't think I will go down anything bigger than the waterfall with out rear line locks and rear disconnect . Is that how you drop free fall drops?

I think the fact that I was the only rig and it was just me and my gf made me a little more nervous knowing if something went wrong things might get really bad

UNSTUCK

But stuck more often.
I drove a friend's ZJ with dicked up brakes down and obstacle called "The Luge" in Martinez Canyon just outside of Phoenix AZ.

There are a handful of videos of it on youtube, some do justice and some don't.
I had the jeep in low range, first gear, AC on max, and practically stood on the brakes... and it turned out to be just the right amount of control... never locked a tire, never had the ABS grab, it was perfect, but the fact that I couldn't make the brakes do anything else added to the fear of the drive down that thing.

I've done the luge a few times. It's one of those hills made out of loose rock. You just like of line up and slide on down. Doesn't matter if your brakes are working or not. You wont stop if you want to.
A guy in front of me got a bit sideways going down and got stopped. That one scared me, because I couldn't stop. I just about slid into him and ended up riding his bumper the rest of the way down. Lesson learned: Always wait for the guy in front of you to get off the hill before you start it.

First "real" Moab trip was a December run of Kane Creek. Remember one of the drops into the creek scaring me more than a little. Steep bank, into partially ice over water that we could not tell how deep the whole was.

Probably not all that bad in reality, but as newbie was exciting!

Here is my buddy jrodxj's descent in Moab, I cant remember the name of the hill, but I believe it was on behind the rocks..

WARNING! One of the spectators standing next to me drops the F-bomb at the end of the video, if you don't want to hear that, don't have your speakers on/loud.
