Grand junction move

UNSTUCK

But stuck more often.
Dang Greg, keep talking like this and we'll all want to move over there. Any heavy equipment/diesel work over there?

I know, I was thinking I should delete all my positive comments! Grand Junctions sucks, it's horrible here.... don't come!!! :p

I don't know of any jobs off the top of my head, with the energy sector falling flat on it's face around here, there are a lot of people with similar skills that are out of work.

Phoenix. Would you be running to LA? That's some easy running for sure. Phoenix itself sucks, but has some awesome recreation nearby. I go to Buckeye once in a while, wouldn't mind living there at all. 4 hours away from Puerto Penasco, Mexico(Rocky Point) love that place.

GJ is nice. I've driven I-70 Denver to Vail, GJ or SLC easily 300 times for work. It's well maintained, ski traffic sucks from Eisenhower into Denver. Loveland pass is... crazy when they won't let trucks through Eisenhower tunnel. Vail to Denver is 100miles or 2 hours if it's good. 4 hours if it's bad. Once I was stuck 3 hours in the tunnel because a semi jack-knifed. The road through Glenwood canyon has improved 10x with new improvements.

Don't forget the best part of living in Fruita is it was the home of Mike the headless chicken.

There's great dirtbiking out by Clifton. I'd live there if snowboarding weren't so far away.

I decided against pheonix, grand junction is still an option ha ha

Good decision. I lived in Gilbert 20 yrs ago. Came out one morning to go to work and my lug nuts were sitting on the ground. They got to the locking lug nut and gave up. Crime there 20 years ago was worse than it is in SLC today. There are some fun things to do like float the Salt River, waterski at many crowded lakes and nice winters. If you want to Ski, you could always go to Prescott. Rocky Point is a riot as well. The heat sucks in the summer but you live in an airconditioned home, drive airconditioned vehicles and sometimes work in airconditioned places.
