The Ideas are limitless. It is all about how much money you want to spend. The one Grand Wagy I seen that I thought was perfect, scraped the whole thing and turned it in to a full tube buggy. Mine cost alot more than it was worth to do what I did. Spring over is good. cut the fenders as much as you can. Relocate the front shock mounts so that you can have longer shocks, more stuff and more flex. I used the stock shock mounts and flipped them upside down and cut the top off and made a new hole for the shock mount. Flipped the t-case mounting bracket so that it kinda sits flat. Extended brake lines, then custom drive lines. I have a 4in block in the rear and 4in spring lift that I hate because it has no flex, so if I did it again, I would flip the shackles or do some sort of shackle relocation project and use some super flexy springs.
If I had unlimited funds I would do a 12 valve cummins with and Alison, an atlas with some sweets 60s. fully adjustable four link with air bag overload/towing assistance, rear fuel cell, chop the top and have a full role cage with a custom soft top or something like the t top design on the new wranglers.
