They look like Weld Draglite wheels to me.

I agree with the Weld Draglite, but have seen some Center Line Wheels that look similar. Center line would have a stamp with "Center Line" on the wheel somewhere

They are a Draglite style but not Draglite's, A Draglite uses a long lug nut with a flat washer.

It's kind of fun pulling a 50 year old car part and not having to really wail on bolts and such. I'm learning why people like "desert" cars. It's really nice to work on (minus the insect nests---found a mud dauber nest just above the license plate) due to the lack of corrosion

A Skylark hood will fit in a Stuper Duty truck bed like a glove. B&R wrecking in Ogden had one. Super reasonable price as well

Might have to head to Richfield after all? This is fixable but I’m a little concerned about compromised strength. These aren’t exactly the strongest things when compared to their hood hinges.

Tried to cut out the door lock…. This will be the gift that keeps on giving. With the massive dent there (the white), I’m trying to figure out best way to fix.

Maybe have mobile/ductless blaster come and clean the body up?

That’s worth looking into. I wasn’t aware they were available. I still have the passenger door jamb and trunk area to go. The door side of the drivers door is maybe 50% done? They’d take care of all of that area in an hour or two? The body is pretty straight and I just need to block out the last of the peeling spots on the bottom of the drivers door

Grandma has a friend at the house tonight (and through about Dec 15—boss sez friend has to leave by then). She’ll steal valuable pieces to make her whole. Grandma is a cannibal? 😱😬😱


(Anyone have some lonely GM 5 on 4.75 wheels tires that need a home for a month or so?)
