Isn't there any Buick reproduction places with them? year one or something?

Year One and Parts Place have stuff like the "455" or "GS" emblems. The "custom 455" is off a '72-74ish Centurion. Not exactly something people hoard or reproduce. To your point, I may just snag a couple "455" emblems and repurpose the quarter panel "Custom" emblems and just arrange those on the fender or similar?

Just cleaning the garage a bit before doing a couple of really minor patches . One on the lowest part of the passenger quarter behind the tire. Might be a quarter sized patch?

Other under the trim on the passenger fender behind the wheel (covered by trim)

That's a lot of sanding debris

A little filler just to clean things up and we are done with quarter panels16429045302395855348366872038429.jpg

It's a little smoother than factory but I assume no one will notice

I did stop by the Chev dealer here in Bountiful the other day. Not sure I'm into the sapphire gray metallic.

I'm leaning to just a gray metallic at this point. 20210921_210207_IMG_4674.JPG

I'll keep an eye out for a "dusk blue" car over the next little while. That could win out.

Those two cars are the same color. I love the color in the first gen in the booth, it's kind of meh on the Skylark.

Skylarks are supposed to be yellow.

Those are sexay beasts. I prefer the Apollo White version (slightly) to the Saturn Yellow. I quite like the GSX versions. Original ones are VERY cool and extremely rare. There was like 750ish in 1970, 250 some odd in '71 (other colors available) and 150 or something in '72 (different colors available). They are difficult to document without a build sheet from the car PROVING that they are an actual GSX. I love the hood tach, stripes and the spoiler on the back.
