Why would you want a P22 right now? They won't be outlawed.
yes, I love my P22
Not worried about a ban at all, just looking for more toys. P22 would just be fun and MUCH cheaper to shoot!

I need some bulk 308s for my FAL. Anyone have a lead on a good price?
Where from?
This site religiously keeps track of surplus 308 prices per round. All the stuff listed is good. I bought a load from Century International because theirs is one of the cheapest, plus has free shipping.

My son works at Impact, and he says that since election day they are swamped. Everything is flying off the selves. He doesn't think there will be a ban, but is pretty sure a BIG tax hike will happen right after Obama is sworn into office.
I've not read anything but I heard 500% today by some of the doom and gloom guys at work.I've heard as much as a 200% tax increase.
google "obama gun tax" and tell what comes up? You do realize that he has ALREADY proposed a 500% raise in taxes back in 1999? He's made it quite clear where he stands by his actions.I've heard 1000%!
Come on guys, no one has a clue what it could be. The administration hasn't even switched yet!

Nearly ten years ago, Obama outlined a plan which would increase federal taxes by 500% on sales of firearms and ammunition.
The FactCheck gives the NRA a rating of "Uncertain" to "Increase Federal Taxes on Guns and Ammunition by 500 Percent" and "Close Down 90 Percent of Gun Shops in America." Both these statements, FactCheck correctly reports, come from a newspaper report of Obama's 1999 description his gun control plan. (Chicago Defender, Dec. 13, 1999.) (At the time, he was running for the U.S. House of Representativs.) FactCheck notes that Obama has not pushed for these proposals since his election to the Senate, and adds, "We asked the Obama campaign about his position on an ammunition tax but have received no response."
