I saw a picture of a Bumper and tire swing that integrated the tire swing for a JK into the tailgate for the latch, I think they are out of Utah, Does anyone know who they are? I can't find the picture. But it looked awesome. Currently running the teraflex version but Wife hates having to unlatch it and then open the tailgate when she is running errands. Frankly not a big fan either.

I will be selling it once I take it off and put the factory bumper back on. But I still want to find another one. like the one I saw.

Does the window open after the tailgate? I don't see how it could clear the tire otherwise (unless they have to open at the same time, which would be annoying).

I think the bumper/carrier hinge coordinates with another hinge that connects to the tailgate. It's pretty clever and sturdy from what I've seen.

The tire carrier spindle is on the bumper, which carries all the weight. There is a little link that attaches to the tailgate, so it all swings together--there is no separate latch.

The tailgate holds the liftgate window closed, so once you open the tailgate, then you can lift the window.

what? You open the tailgate FIRST? that seems kinda goofy.
That's what I was thinking. Seems that seal between the window and tailgate would be a prime place for leaks. (I've never really looked at a JK in person so it may be better designed than it seems)

No, the prime place for leaks on JK's are the front corner's of the softop of the freedom top panels.....lucky mine has none of them.....

Oh yea, the Expedition One rear bumper is very nice......

I bought a pair for my TJ but they didn't have the Tire Carrier for the TJ. I love mine. They used to be in Woods Cross but moved to Ogden just a bit ago. I paid them a little extra to install mine, I was in a hurry so they went a head and installed them.

If you click on my Avatar you can see my front bumper. I center punched a guard rail a month or so ago and all it did was scratch my bumper and not all my fillings loose.

I like this one better:

Disclaimer:
Even though I own Jeeperman, I don't own this design, so I can't sell you one like this even if you wanted one. I just think it's a cool design...
