So the Dana 80 post Von made got me thinking about it. He says that's it not all that nuts to have $15k in axles. I think it's a little high for most people, even the buggied-out nutjobs out there.
To be clear-- I know you can spend that much pretty easily, but I'm just curious what the average is out here. I think RME has a decent amount of people on it w/"hardcore" rigs, so let's hear it.
Personally, I'm at... about $2100 right now, but I'm also just running standard ol' 60/14bolts, with nothing special except the disc conversion. So let's add another... $2500 to pimp the front end (alloys, slugs, ARB, knuckles), and... $200 for the rear (not much you can do to the 14 bolt.... ), and that's still under $5k.
