I BOUGHT 1 1971 bronco!!!!! thing is grate. its lifted with 33's nice body, no rust in the tub, think it has a 351w, dana44 in the front with i think disc's, the inside is rinolined black. i was so exited i didnt even look at the rest! but did see a auto shifter!!!

it was there and all sexy and didnt care!!!!

now...guess how much i bought it for... go on guess

some guy couldnt pay his lumber bill so brought them a boat two atv's and these two bronco's! i got the one with the missing top and doors!. the other one is still up for sale!


EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEK!!!!!!!!!!!!! SO EXITED!!!!!!!!!!!

1. Bills

2. Brakes on your car

3. unpaid loans

4. Savings for when you dont have a job in 3 months

5. gears for the Bronco you already have

I was hoping after 6 months unemployment and losing a truck that he loved....he would have learned. But nope....he is a Beck and we are at the top of the stupid list


Love ya Mitch but you shouldnt be wasting money on things you cant afford

lets see...

no work lined up for as far as the eye can see...not working for some time..lets put rockwells under a scout! lets drive to other state's to get coil overs and buy tires.

ya you sold parts to buy parts. but you had no work lined up for some time and should have been selling parts to pay bills if anything.

your just as bad as me but have a seconed income.

and if i bought gears you would be saying the same thing.

was it smart to get this bronco? no. not at all. but im not smart as you said.

and i been looking for a good bronco that i can drive around in or put new body on the bronco for some time. fact is. all the bronco's i have found for $800 or less have been wrecks, this is in really good shape. so if need be.. put this body on my bronco thats body is no joke falling aprt,and sell the rest for what i paid.

im looking for another job now. and for what little bills i have the worst is my credit card that im on a payment agreement for 50 bucks a month, les schwab 50 bucks a month, dentist 50 bucks a month, cell phone 80 bucks a month, insurence 80 bucks a month, and in that 3 months of 640 a pay check (with out overtime) ill get around, 4 grand to pay bills and save up for when i get the boot for the winter.

what about the 17,000 you still owe on your F 150 that you no longer have?




Have you told Dad or even asked yet? He told me he wasnt going to let you bring that truck home since you have 2 cars there already....And that one ran!!


As for the Rockwells...ya I didnt have much work and I wouldnt have bought them if my axles didnt sell. At any given point if I needed the money I could have sold them for more than I paid for them in a day. And I did use money from selling tires to pay a house payment.


Ive said my peace. I have done way more stupid stuff than this in my life. Hoping a little bro could learn from his older brother's mistakes :rofl:


Smartest thing you could do would be to clean it up a little and post it for sale for more money than you paid then use your profits to buy gears.

If you want a Bronco to drive around town.....yours isnt far off from being street legal and a lot cooler than one on 33s. And no....I wouldnt be pissed if you bought gears. Its something you need to get your Bronco on the trail which I cant wait to see happen again. (Isnt that the last thing you need????) Another pile of garbage gets you farther and farther from being on the trail. With all the work you have been doing on it....I was hoping it would make the October moab trip this year. Not going to happen now

sweet! thanks dave! :) ill talk to my dad tonight and find out whats going on. his rule is 2 drivers 1 junker. so i would half to licence the 70 bronco.
