I just picked up an old scout traveler. I need to know if any one knows of a place that any type of performance part can be obtained .. ie. 4bbl intke manifold , cams , headers .... it uses a mopar torqflite auto and d44s haven't checked out the t-case yet but I think it's either a 20 or 300 ... any help would be appreciated ...thanx

As of right now there is no aftermarket intake manifold that I am aware of but there is an aluminum 4 barrel intake manifold in the works for the 345 & 392 by a Vendor in CA. Headers and FI are popular to get but I haven't tried either yet. I am very jealous, I've been looking for a Traveler/ Terra pickup to make a nice family cruiser for 5+ years. If its an '80 w/ square headlights then there is a very good possibility it has a D300. The D20 will have the speedo cable on the drivers side the D300 will be on the Passenger side.

I parted out a 1980 traveler 2 years ago and it had a model 20 t-case.
I still have a complete 345 with 4 barrel and trans.

Very interested in both if the tranny is a T19 wide. I have found a couple but they get crushed before I can get them.
