How does one renounch their citizenship? 
I just signed the Utah petition!

Nationalism is dangerous, I can cite many reasons why if need be. Disagreeing with the direction of your country does not make you any less a patriot, American or whatever. I'm as proud of an American as it gets and I'm sure most are... but apathy and nationalism takes you down a dangerous road as a society.

Problem Herzog we all need to come to a solution and quit bitching about the problem.
How does one renounch their citizenship?
First step is to find a country to become a citizen of.
Switzerland, New Zealand, or Australia for instance. Those are my personal choices where I would go, if it came down to major major problems.
Then you go from there, I believe there is some paperwork that needs to be filled out. Or you can join their military and that automatically pulls your citizenship with the USA, or vis-versa.

FYI. Those nations are MORE socialistic than the US with LESS personal freedoms and far HIGHER taxes. Gun ownership. Concealed carry. Hunting permits. Big tires on your Jeep. Yeah. Good luck. Also, to become a citizen you will need to show you are independently wealthy or have a skill they want -- like a doctor, scientist, engineer.

understood. But, you can go to Australia for mining as well not just a skill set. Had a few friends do it. They may be more socialistic as well, but they have been that way for a long time and have developed that way and are in better standing with it then if the US was to go that route, and hey are aloud to own weapons just under conditions, like what would happen in the US if things go through with gun laws or the UN. And taxes are a bought to sky rocket for the US as we'll. there is a high debt and the rich aren't going to be the only ones paying that debt. With Obamacare alone there are 12 new taxes, health care costs are going to increase, and businesses are going to start getting into worse condition then they already are. And I don't have to have big tires to have fun. I small/standard size tires for a off road vehicle. It is easier to go some place that has been working with a certain style of government for a long period of time, then it is to go through with a country that is basically divided on how they want to go through with things and don't know which direction because nobody is wanting to give up their ways, or whiling to work with one another to come to a agreement that people can handle and be ok with. And gun laws are coming, just a matter of when and to what extent, you don't think so. That is what everybody thought about having a black president, people said only when pigs fly. Well wait we had the swine flu. Lol

I thank God every day for the constitution. It is the only thing that holds this country together and it will succeed in the end unless demographic change is allowed to take over the country. Notice there was very little blood shed.
