Tried the search and couldn't find much info. I saw an article in pertersons about some trails in Boise but, nothing in southern ID.

I may want to put a run together for memorial day as I have been all over southern Utah but, haven't been further north than Logan.

TIA -Marcus

Snake River Offroaders is who took the Petersens guys out on the Ultimate Adventure. You can hit about every type of terrain in one day. They have a SWEET rock trail that is as hard or easy as you like. Sand dunes, mountain trails, and of course.......mud.

My club (Wasatch Outlaws) is going up in June for a weekend

Dont worry........I will break Joels legs first :D I dont know if the Cherokee will go or not. Thats up to my wife.

We will be going to St. Anthony for sand dunes, Rexburg for rocks, and a few other places. We will be meeting up with the Snake River Offroaders to have them show us around a little bit so it should be a good sized group and a lot of fun.

I agree... I met Beau (SRO) in May of 05 and we went out on about 3? or 4? trails over the weekend - had a blast!! There was a lot of everything, rocks, sand, hills, etc. And everything from easy to OH S! That was all around Boise. I think it was like 6 hours from PG towing a boat, so really not that bad of a drive at all.

Next month, Mom's weekend, there is the Moyier Mud Bog/BBQ. In June there is a rock competition in Yakima at the fairgrounds.

Here's some sites to check out...

timbercrawler.com
Spokane 4 wheelers
Pacific North West 4 Wheel Drive Association
Idaho State 4x4 Association
Idaho 4x4
offroaders.com
snakeriveroffroaders.com

...I've found more, but I can't remember the names or find the links right now...

When? It's not going to conflict with the Price thing, is it??

Thanks for the heads up guys.

I will definately go on the June run instead. I would much rather be part of an organized run then my usual record of driving around aimlessly-_-

I will instead, head down to Vegas on memorial day for some wheelin before it gets too hot and then Idaho in june. I have to travel as much as I can before my job decides to ship me out somewhere without any wheelin.

Thanks again,
Marcus

I'd say about 85% of the wheelin I do is in Southern Idaho just East of Preston which is just past the Utah border. Tough nothing too extreme... The scenery and area you can cover more than makes up for it

Nope. King Challenge is June 9th and we are heading to Idaho the 22nd. So hopefully I wont kill the Scout as bad as I did last year at the competition.
I cant wait!!

There's something else happening on the 22nd up here... Hmmm I don't remember! Maybe it's your deal!! Or maybe the locals are advertising it as well? Anyway! It sounds good to me!! I'm not real far from Boise, distance wise, but time wise about 6 hours. The road between here and there is a 2 lane logging road and it's real easy to get stuck behind a truck doing 40! Not many options on passing, either....

Where we are going is south east Idaho. I think Boise is about 4 hours from Idaho Falls. Dont quote me on that though. 10 hours is quite a drive for a wheeling trip but then again.......how far are you from Price??

How is the project coming?
