Idaho trails

Hey Cheston and Timpanogos... You guys still coming up this weekend to Idaho Falls?

I should be heading out of here Friday morning and putting me in town late evening. I'll most likely stay here in Idaho Falls.

I'm kind of on the fence about coming down... It's a long 8 hour drive and there really hasn't been much interest from other folks. I'd really hate to drive the 8 hours and there only be a couple of us, and that is because people feel obligated to take me out wheelin' for driving so far.

I'm pretty much loaded and ready to head out in the morning. But if I don't see more interest from others, I don't think I'm going to come down. If there is another board/thread that shows more interest than here, then point me that way so I can guage it.
 
wayne im riding on a semi with 4 other rigs thats not including corey and cheston and i think a few more than that also, i also think that the snake river offroaders will be there

I wish I would have gotten on here earlier but of course Ive been doing the last minute thrash on some rigs. Its now 2 in the morning and I got to get to bed.

Anyway, I really dont think you will be dissapointed if you come. I know of at least 9 rigs that will be there from my club alone. There are a couple of RMEers that I know want to come. The Snake River Offroaders are going to be there in full force. I would guess about 5 to 10 rigs from their club. I dont think you need to worry about not having enough people around. Also, the 2 rock trails we will be doing will be more than enough challenge for that newly built Jeep of yours.

I know its a long trip for ya but please dont not come because you dont think there is any interest. There will be plenty of people, fun, nice rigs, carnage, and rocks so get off the internet and start driving!

You can check Planet4x4.net and go to the Snake River Offroaders forum. There is some talk about the plans on there.

Well I'm here! Don't eat at the Denny's right off 15 and 20 - worst service and food EVER!!!! They were empty, and the waitress still had a hard time getting over to refill my soda way after the food was delivered. :rolleyes:

No doubt!!! I have lots of scars all over the place from being stuck in that lava - crack? ..For lack of a better word...

When's our next trip? :D
 
i got body damage on the first obstacle :-\ if that stupid rock wouldnt have hung me up i wouldnt have had to winch up, but atleast i didnt break nuthin :D unlike say the Durango/Bronco thing and a certain scout:laughing:

Was there more than one Scout??? I dont remember breaking anything. I just took my rear shocks off for better articulation.:greg:

I only have a few pics of the first obstacle and then a big tight squeeze that a few could only get through. Zuks were having a hard time, and one of them suffered some pretty good carnage. Sucks for him, too, because prior to it his rig was clean. Now his door, hood and rear rocker is bashed up. It was a very tight squeeze, indeed!

:greg:Oh yeah........I forgot about that. But it stayed together the whole time so I dont consider that breaking either......Is that all he told you about??? I may or may not have broke my tranny mount off the frame to. But the mount just rested on my link bars. It was like that all Sunday on the trail ride. :rofl::rofl:


I will talk to Eric and try to get him to post some pics.

I didn't wheel with ya very much, but I was glad to meet ya'll.
we tried to get cheston to come run blacks caynon with us but to no avail.
