What makes this country as great as it is is the fact that there are two sides to every story and we have the right to look into both. If you close your eyes and minds to either side you're advocating ignorance and ignorance leads to the lack of freedom. Those who don't deserve freedom will lose it.

I'm not choosing a side, here, but I do find it scary when people get upset and threatened about this even being brought up. Though it can be difficult, remove your biases, study both sides freely, then decide. Don't automatically shut an idea out just because it doesn't fit with your current views/perspectives/or beliefs.

very well said, I agree :)

There's not one conspiracy theory yet that makes any SENSE. Or is that the cryptic point? So well planned that we WILL NOT GET IT! And thank GOD for these websites to put it together for us.

Occam's Razor is really, really helpful here. But shhhhhhhhhhhh The government is lying to you, spoon-feeding you what THEY want you to know!

In the aftermath of such a big, shocking collapse of these impregnable buildings, lots of BS came out. So what?

Fire. Jet fuel. More widespread use of plastics in the offices than when the buildings were built. Faster planes. An attack no one had really considered (full throttle into the buildings rather than an accidental impact). The failure of the fire insulation, which nothing had been done about really.
---Yep, must have been a planted bomb that brought the buildings down... and since the government KNEW beforehand that it was going to happen, obviously they'd make time to plant it! And hush up the thousands that would need hushing up. Congress will be presenting the money trail shortly.

So I guess that Bush ought to be declaring martial law any minute now, right? or is this the groundwork for some other group waiting in the wings, who's using the current administration for it's own sinister machinations?

I'm glad as hell that a lot of people, for whatever reason, didn't go to work that day. My wife and I, being NY'ers, have a lot of friends and family that worked in or around those buildings.

WOW

it only took 60 posts before someone rationally responded to the idea that it's not unamerican to question other ideas.

i've actually seen this documentary that 53willy's is discussing.
and i have to say, it does bring up some interesting points.
the film maker also states from the very begining that he affiliates himself with neither party but rather as a defender of civil liberties.

watch the video clips, and decide for yourself.
but keep an open mind....that's what makes us american
having the choice to make our own decisions
regardless if people call you a "tin hat wearing, the earth is flat spouting, we never landed on the moon" nut job, it our right to decide.

stop being sheeple...question everything!!!

At any rate, do you realize how much money and fame would come to a reporter or news agency for exposing this 'obvious' conspiracy? If it were real, it would come out. You can find anything you want on the internet to explain anything anyway you want it explained.

Being that the terrorists hate Bush so much, don't you think one of the involved terrorists would have sent out some information that showed just how stupid we are letting them sneak in bombs to help this carefully planned attack? Don't you think the official knowledge, confirmed by the bad-dudes, would set a ****-storm in motion of anti-bush propoganda to the point of being impeached?

Everything is a bit extream! Thats going to give a lot of people heart attacks...

Being paranoid all the time is not my cup of tea. Its easy to read reports and form opinions.

Saying that people who believe strongly in something is bad, is very ignorant. Also having an opinion/bias is something we can have because we are free. Thats not a lack of freedom, acutally quite the opposite.

I try to have an open mind to everything, and even that pisses a lot of people off for some reason. Especially in religious aspects.

Nobody really knows the cold, hard, pure facts about almost any event in life... except those who were directly involved. What about the Kennedy assasination? Hell, that's still under investigation by many independent groups to this day. 911 is going to be under investigation for a long time, wether people accept that it was completely the cause of terrorists or if there was some kind of other conspiracy going on. And there are a lot more variables to this event than the Kennedy assasination, and other large events in American history.

I remember getting criticized for a flouride conspiracy.  Yeah, that one haunts me still. :D

I wasn't trying to say you shouldn't have opinions or biases; quite the opposite, actually. My only point is that in order to form an opinion on one topic, you should start with an open mind about it so you can hear both sides equally and THEN form your opinion.

This topic will always be questioned one way or the other. I'm trying to do a better job at seeing the other side of things and doing lots of research. Personally I think the buildings collapsed from planes hitting them. Now on the other plane that might have been shot down....... not sure. I'm waiting for someone to start a "Did we land on the moon" discussion.

GOD? whos this god everyone keeps speakin of? oh thats right all these people who are trying to prove hard facts of whether this was a conspiracy or a terrorist attack believe that long ago our earth (which is round or flat) was just whipped up like a batch of cookies and all of our bodies just appeared. did anyone ever think that maybe this "god" put bombs on those buildings. if people can just appear to start a civilization why can't bombs appear to alter this civilization? not to start a religious war but to try to put things into perspective it's funny to see how soooo many people have to have the hardest facts to believe something when they are such loyal members to a religion based on "faith" which is anything but a hard fact. so like i said not to start a big religious war or anything but look at it from my point of view thats all i ask.

... the documentary is 4hours long and has boat loads of sientifc facts about how the goverment knew. But the mainstream media does not report any of this.

I found this hilarious, as the mainstream media is grossly liberal... Like they wouldn't report on something that had the potential to tarnish the reputation of a republican...

I thought it was funny that everyone they interviewed in that video was either a bum, crack head, or wack-job.

I can't believe I just wasted my time reading this...
