Or just switch over to 35 spline drive flanges. I've got the shafts, just need to call Mt. Logan for the slugs.

Ya I guess I remember you saying you were going to do that.

I have to ask though................do you plan on running into rocks with your hubs or using them as traction devices? I think people are putting to much effort into worrying about somethoing that hasn't proven to be a problem.

I'm sure it'll get some use with the 30 spline outers and hubs before I change over (oh, and I'm not the best driver......if I can hit a hub or tie rod, I'll do it). If it had an exhaust and traction bar, I would have done a 'snake' run today.......:D

That's cool.

I won't do any business with that guy EVER, and I really hope his quality has gone up, because of his attitude. He's a snakey bast*rd who gets very creative with the truth. He also likes to make excuses.... but I promised myself I wouldn't get started. He is the only person I've ever had to ban on the M715 Zone... his emails were classic and sad.

I'm going with Stazworks, that's where USA6xSucks stole all their stuff from anyway. :greg:

Very cool... I'd like to do something similar on my Rubicon to stretch it, but I don't want to lose the rear seat. I was thinking about making a large tank that fits inside the entire tub, but only about 2" tall and mount the seat above it - then I wouldnt' have to cut the tub. But I like your way... Got any close up pics?

Here's an article on a similar gas tank project on a TJ. Once you're in the sight go to Tech, then to gas tank.

Looking good! What wheelbase are you at and how wide did you end up? I think the same thing would work well under my CJ and still keep it sorta street legal.

I'm at 100-101" (I can't remember exactly), but close enough. Front sidewall/sidewall is 77" and rear is 75". A 6" Xenon flare should cover the bulk of the tire.

nice, now what about a winch? :greg:

I'm hoping to get one, but it won't do me any good if the Jeep sits in the garage. :D I wouldn't mind trying one of the T-max ones. The specs look almost identical to the Warns and I believe they're Aussie made, right?
