Sounds like a cool product, what was the point of all the horse crap that came with it?

If you use RME to sell you company's products, you need to be a paying vendor. To be a paying vendor, you need a business license. JL doesn't plan on getting a business license since this is a small small venture, and since he's not a vendor he can't pimp his product. Or something like that...

I've got an 07 Rubicon with the manual. TJDukit if you get it done you'll have to let me know how it works out or Mesha can PM me with the info.

I know it has been and will be said over and over again, and I know I'll get flamed for it, but please don't put this on a manual trans rig... It is an unsafe, irresponsible thing to do.

That said, it is a neat product for sure. I'd like one for a 1996 80 series Toyota Land Cruiser.:)

I will talk about it since it is currently in my jeep.

The basic idea is pretty cool. Last night I had my fridge in the jeep, the lights on the radio blaring, because I was having a huge rave in my driveway. My battery power begin to drain and at the set voltage of 12.1 my now "smart" jeep started itself, ran for a few minutes until the the correct voltage level was reached and then the rig shut down. It comes with a little LCD monitor that tells me up to a mile away that the jeep has started and then lets me know when it shuts back off. I have been stranded in the backcountry due to a dead battery I don't anticipate this happening ever again. No wires were cut or spliced. A factory jeep wiring harness was used to make it plug and play and easy to reverse if needed. 30 minute install. IF you have any questions you can PM me or post up here.

I will be carrying them through alljeep.com

Ok, now that he's going through a legit route :)p) and we know what it does, I will say that is pretty bad ass! Very cool idea JL Rockies.

Pretty common technology, locomotives have an aess system than monitors many more features. (Auto stop start)

But cool to implement this into the automotive world.

Please don't comment about something you don't know about, it's an irresponsible thing to do. A better way to handle this would be to ask "how does this operate safely in a vehicle equipped with a manual transmission? And I would've answered. This kit is 100% compatible with manual transmissions.

My apologies for being irresponsible. So, how does this operate safely in a vehicle equipped with a manual transmission?
