Does it keep an eye on your fuel gauge too? Cuz that brings as much suck as a dead battery :) other than that, awesome idea!

Also, my auto-start on my truck will shut itself off if the check engine light were to come on, does this have that? I wouldn't consider it a lesser product if it didn't, but would be rather impressed if it did.

If you have so little gas that you'd run out because the engine is idling, you wouldn't have enough gas to get home anyway... just sayin'

Unless it's OEM, I don't think that your remote starter has anyway of knowing that the check engine light is on. All remote starters I am aware of (and I've been around a long time) can only monitor tach, voltage glow plug and brake. I see no advantage to the extra cost of programming all the data for each year, make and model just to not start the vehicle because the MAF sensor is dirty. It's true that the newer vehicles that have data everything require a connection at the OBDII plug but that's for data integration like tach, and transponder bypass. I can tell you that poor installation has been known to cause a check engine light or two and not worked to boot.

I'd be happy to field any questions from actual potential buyers -_-

Okay well I do not own a 2007+ Mopar, so okay.

Yes it is OEM, 2007 silverado duramax. And anyways it seems like you've found a good solution to a common problem.

How is the update on this? I had my truck battery die while camping becuase of listening to hours of radio-cranked-up around the fire and I didn't think to start it. Luckily there were other trucks there and I had jumper cables.

What I'm gettin at is have you made it compatible with GM vehicles yet? Iirc I saw a thread sayin you left America, but can't remember for sure.

As far as I know the product was put on hold when he got his new job in florida.

The box he installed in my JK has been working well.
