Why dont they ship these things unassembled? What reccomendations would you have during welding to keep the nylon from overheating and melteing if I dont want to take it apart before I weld it on?

check your welding supply shop for some heat sink paste...works better than you may think.

I'd still be careful when welding the TG one's on, if you just burn it on all at once it might still get hot enough to melt. The Heat sink paste, mentioned above, really does help as well. Weird stuff But I'd take your time welding small sections if your gonna leave it assembled

I had revolvers and decided to go back to a standard shackle.

The biggest problem is usually axle wrap which can be fixed with a track bar. I didn't feel like they made me more tippy.

I think Notajeeps old revolver setup with a limit strap would actually work fine!
