It was really cool to meet Davy and his wife today. I have said it before and I'll repeat myself. RME is the coolest forum ever. Everyone I have met on this forum are really nice people. It was good to put my thousands of dollars and hours of learning to use to help someone one this board.

Little D could easily touch the ground on one.

After messing around with a PW 80 yesterday( thanks chad) I think it would be just fine. It is a little heavy, but the power didn't seem to crazy.

You're all WEAK SAUCE!
that's good to know. The crf was a little much and the pw50 was small but manageable. Looks like I may be watching for a deal on a pw80 in the near future too.

Did you buy one yet Davy? The wife and I (and a few others) are riding at Lambert Park in Alpine tonight. It'll be a noob ride, and it'd be perfect for little D to tag along for.

We opted for a KLX110, Picked it up last night and surprised my kids with it.

Great choice on the klx, Ive spent hundreds on gear for my boys, and It still looks new after they grow out of it, I recently started buying thier gear used on ebay, stuff is almost new if not new, and at a third of the price, I recently got Thor pants, jersey, chest protector and neck brace for $65 shipped, would have cost $250 new. you couldnt tell it wasnt brand new.

clean looking bike.
Thanks!
Honestly it was one of the cheapest on KSL :)
Its a little beat up actually, Lots of scratches, But it fires right up and stops well, No leaks that I have seen yet.
Today we see how my son can ride it, We went over a bunch of stuff last night, he knows how to kick start it now as well as the on/off switch, shifting, brakes, blah blah blah :)

get you son out in an open area, field or something, create a safe little loop for him to ride in, then draw a line in the dirt, have him do a loop and each time he gets to the line...stop. then randomly make him stop in other places in the loop so that he gets comfortable stopping on demand. as far as shifting the 110's first gear has a wide range, he probably will ride in just first gear for a long time.
