Being shot by a police officer is one of my most irrational fears. I understand there is less than 0.001% chance of it happeneing but it is just such a helpless feeling. I had an encounter in my 20's where had I been in my home instead of a friends, I would have shot an intruder that was a plain clothes officer and I would have went to prison for life. He didn't identify himself as an officer and forced his way into a home with no warrant.
I like to think I could defend myself with lethal force if justified but shooting unarmed people should be really hard to justify unless they are in your home at night and you have no affiliation with them. This stuff is scary to me.
That said, it is aggrivating to try and look past the bias on every news site these days to figure out what really happened. Especially when many sites are so blatantly bias, I wonder if I am sensitive to that or if I have just become a sheep and am following the narrative. Hard to believe the narrative goes both ways though. No where in the original article did it elude to the fact that the BLM claims driving in a restricted area is grounds for using lethal force. But the freerangereport sure makes it sound that ways.
