Long story short, I was detained in high school when a 5ish year old girl in the neighborhood got shot at on her new bicycle.
I was the suspected shooter.
It went from a gun to a paintball gun pretty quick... but I was still treated like a murderer.
And then about an hour later I was freed without explanation.
I walked to the girls house. She lived on a hill. She had training wheels. There was 1 worn spot all the way through her new tire, green tire slime on the outside. The girl has skidded down the hill and popped her tire. It took parents and police over an hour to realize it. It took me less than 4 seconds.
As a teenager, I called the police chief and let him know how stupid his officers were.
