PLACE personly i like the "pit stop" just off the spanish fork exit on the north west side

If you are coming from North of Lehi, its a tad bit faster going down the west side of the lake. Thus meeting at the standard lehi meeting place might be better.

Last time I was down there, I hit 6th north/freeway in orem at the same time others left lehi. We hit the turn off to little moab at the very same time.

Time difference - Lehi exit to 6th north exit.

I'll likely be going freeway via spanish fork, so doesn't matter to me
 
Ok are we getting some details worked out? Im coming from sandy so its probably will probably be easier to meet everyone there. I dont know exactly where it is at, but i typed in the cordinates on my gps from what I have found on the maps section of this forum, so I hope it will take me there. Also what time will we be meeting there?
 
I think the critical turn point is at the 7 mile marker. You turn onto a dirt road there. There is a farm house a couple hundred yards up the road on the north side of the dirt road

map from the Cross roads in Saratoga Springs to Little Moab (almost) At the end of those directions turn North onto the smaller dirt road and follow it to the big sandstone outcropping.
 
Can the tow rigs make it all the way back to the rocks, or do you park then drive the jeep in from there? I'll be heading down the west side from lehi, so I can meet up with anyone going that way. Maybe at the smiths or the cheveron right there. Smiths might be easier.

They can, but you are better off parking to the south of the main road (you'll see the clear area by the Chimney Rock) or if that is used up there are some wide spots along small road in between the main dirt road and LM.

This is for everyone, please try not to blaze new parking areas in the grass/sage brush, this is NOT an open travel area.


EDIT: Someone should probably name a time.
 
ok so then which groups are meeting in lehi, which in spanish fork???

there is a group from southern area that wil be meeting down in spanish ....

i assume the other group will be in lehi
 
What if we said 8:30am at Smiths in Lehi, near the gas pumps, pull out at 9am. That would put us at the staging area at about 9:45. I'll be in my cj7, and cross my fingers, being pulled by the shop Wag. You cant miss it. I might have an extra seat...
 
dY after tommorrow, there is a group meeting across from Pit Stop in Spanish fork, at 9/930 on saturday the 8th. another group sounds to be meeting in lehi around 9, and i guess anyone else meet down there around 10 i beleive....

hopefuly this all works
